Creating the optimal dialogue experience

Design and Facilitation of your dialogue

WCE’s experienced practitioners plan and design your dialogue experience based on your goals and requirements. We tailor-design your dialogue, coordinate the infrastructure requirements with your staff and/or meeting facility and facilitate the dialogue on-site. Our pan-European experience enables us to work in all major European languages.

Documentation of Participant Input and Results

WCE designs dialogues which create results. Based on your participant feedback, we analyze this input. This is the basis for a written and visual documentation of your dialogue’s results and recommendations. A personal presentation of these outcomes provides the platform for an in-depth discussion of their practical consequences and implementation

Building in-house Capacity

A unique program has been designed especially for internal facilitators. This program develops the in-house capability to conceive and realize effective dialogues independently.  A series of modules held with in-house personnel provides a solid foundation to WCE’s unique approach to the dialogue process. This in-depth overview is enhanced through personalized coaching on the specific large group facilitation skills which are required for designing and hosting successful dialogues.

To host a meaningful experience, the right people need to be in the room to realize the purpose of your dialogue. As a result, it is key that your concept is properly aligned with your intended stakeholder group(s). WCE assists you to define the right stakeholders for your dialogue and develop a strategy to ensure an optimal mix of participants.

Stakeholder Input

A dialogue requires a collective time investment of all participants. WCE uses both telephone interviews and focus groups of select stakeholders to inform your dialogue’s conceptual development to create a more powerful and effective experience.

Branding Your Dialogue

There are numerous opportunities to make your dialogue’s  ‘look and feel’ to be in alignment with your organization’s corporate design. WCE identifies these possibilities to reflect your CD and manages the production of these custom materials.

Enhancing your dialogue during the Implementation Phase

Graphic Recording and Idea Documentation

Capturing the ideas and collective wisdom of the participants through graphic recording and idea documentation (also known as harvesting) broadens the impact of a dialogue. WCE designs original approaches to visualize participants’ output ranging from classical graphic recording in multiple languages to the development of creative idea harvesting techniques inspired by your design.

Monitoring and Evaluation of the Dialogue’s Impact

WCE uses both lo-tech and hi-tech methods to measure the impact of your dialogue. Both quantitative and qualitative methods are used to collect participants’ feedback which provides the basis for an in-depth data analysis of the quality and impact of your dialogue.

Video Documentation and Live-Streaming

WCE has pioneered the use of video to create a real-time documentation of dialogues. By aligning the storyboard and editing process with your dialogue’s intent, we create a communication vehicle about the character of your dialogue, impact on participants, results and recommendations. Multi-language versions with sub-titles can be created as required.

Extending the echo

Results Review: reflection on implications

The volume of results which emanate from a large group dialogue can be overwhelming. WCE’s experience allows us to quickly recognize patterns in the data and present key messages in a simple and compelling manner. These results form the basis for a meeting with key stakeholders to reflect upon the implications and next steps.

Communication Strategies

WCE assists to formulate appropriate post-event communication strategies ranging from drafting press releases, crafting social media campaign strategies or creating post-event video communications to reach a larger audience.

Peer-to-Peer learning

The optimal form of dissemination occurs person-to-person and mouth-to-mouth. Taking this into consideration, WCE has developed a unique process. It enables dialogue participants to host and facilitate conversations with people who did not experience the dialogue. These conversations have a duration of 75 to 90 minutes. WCE designs the conversations based on the results of the dialogue and coaches the volunteer facilitators to effectively lead the conversations

We provide on-site personal coaching on your dialogue concept, design, facilitation, idea harvesting methods and infrastructure requirements in order to optimize your experience.

Coaching and Mentoring of Facilitators

On-site personal coaching focuses on the enhancement of specific facilitation skills essential to maximize the effectiveness of your dialogue.
